Viewbase and advance steel won't work together

Is there a way to get advance steel and autocad viewbase command to work together.  It does not recognize advance steel as 3d solids.  Is there a fix or do we just have to use advance steel document manager?

HI,

Advance Steel models are not ACIS 3D Solids. The ViewBase command is no use to you with AS models. AS has its own systems for creating drawigns that use its own technology. These are based around drawing styles and drawing processes. Then you use the Document Manager to view and manage the drawings after they are created.

I understand that Advance steel has its own creation of documents, but I would of like to of seen viewbase work with this program. Do you know of any training videos to learn how to set up the documentation thru advance steel.  I have not found a lot of detailed video on how to get it too look like my company standards we prefer to use.
