To generate 1 assembly with connected parts details per drawing

Hi,

Some of my assemblies when generated the drawing process creates 2 drawings in 1 assembly. One drawing for the assembly and in the other drawing were the connected parts. I would like that for every assembly there's only one drawing. Each drawing must contain the assembly view top/front/bottom and details of connected parts. How is that possible?

I think you mean that the there is also a part drawing of the main Part. 

If so you can go into the drawing process and set it to selected MP with parts except the main parts. 

I've included a screenshot to show you.

Yes it's a good solution, except if connected parts ares share with other assemblies.

example:

Assembly n°P01 is composed of part 01 (main part) an part 03, make process of Rhill, will make detail of P01 with part 03 in secondarypart detail,

but now, when you will make detail P02 (composed of 02[MP] and 03) it will say "03 is already detailled on sheet of detail" and you will not have detail of 02.

it's the will of advance to have only one detail of a secondarypart (to avoid multi-fabrication), for now it is impossible to have multi detail of a secondarypart in different assembly details. (maybe in future release we will have an option to allow multi-details of secondaryparts)

So to conclude:

if you have a assembly composed with unique singl, method of Rhill is good.

But if you have an asssembly with shared secondarypart, i don't know how to  do, i've tried lot of things but it's still impossible.

its easy to solve I think, 

You need to set the default manager (management tools) to allow duplicate workshop drawings. I've included a screenshot on how to do this. use the filters and search for workshop and have a look at my screen shot.

yeah, this option is good, but be aware it allow to duplicate assembly too.

but in this case (if i understand well) we want to not duplicate assembly but only secondarypart. And option you say allow duplicate assembly and secondary part.

But yes it's a good solution if SIBARUT wants to duplicate all of these drawings.

Hi,

You also need to watch out for the quantities called up. Each drawing will call up the quantity of the attached part (P03 in the example above) in the entire model - thus at least twice the overal quantity is called for.

You will need to adjust the drawing styles to label the details with "Quantity per assembly" instead of the general Quantity and then it still requires careful managing.

I am not familiar with how other systems handle the quantities properly. The drawing of Assembly with Attached parts can be handled but it is a bit of a square peg in a round hole.

Yeah this method isn't usual for steel detailling software ( AS and TEKLA and BOCAD).
But méthod with assembly and secondarypart détailed is the old way in my society.
And go To advance from autocad2d, is very complcated due To this différence in method.
