The BOM on my drawing does nothing when I update, crashes

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi,
I have tried to place a BOM on an engineering arrangement drawing with no luck. The BOM does nothing when I update and the drawing locks up and cursor spins for ages, I then have to shutdown as nothing happens. I have audited the model and fixed any errors and other models work except this one?
I just want a simple material list.
I did not assembly the parts and only numbered the single parts as it will only be an engineering drawing.
Can someone please look at my model to see why this is happening.

I have attached my model.
Thanks
Jeff

Hi,

You MUST number assemblies before you can produce BOMs of any kind, including on drawings.

Unfortunately all kinds of update withn a drawing are horribly slow at the moment - hopefully Autodesk will fix that soon. So after placing the blank BOM in your GA try saving and closing the drawing and then updating it from Document Manager. That will be far faster.

You should have a complete BOM then.
