I see that Graitec has developed a Structures Vault, to automate generating typical structures.
Wondering if I can develop and make a custom template for my own designs.
If you had any prior experience, it is appreciated if you share how these structures can be created from scratch. What programming language was used (Possibly XML?) is it open source? etc...

If you use the Graitec Structure Designer it has a library where you can store favourite configurations of the macro and call them up in future in one click after placing a "Default structure".
If you want to write your own macros you need to use VB.NET or C# with the Advance steel SDK. The documentation for the SDK is pretty sparce and terrible so it is a very steep learning curve.
