Steel rafter to column

Hi All, i ve got a task to made this kind of connections, as i could not find any appropriate connections template I'm doing it manually for every single column:

Cut at object rafter as shown on picture 1 and after attaching end plates with a weld point.

Does anyone know how to simplified it ?

Hi @Anonymous 

To me that is more of an end - end plate connection.

If you use the "End plate splice" at least the system will model the plates, bolts & welds etc.

For the vertical cut and plate on the rafter you will need to do that yourself but you could then roll everything together to make a custom connection if needed

Thanks Rob for this solution,

it is working nice with same beam size, if like mine 254x146x37 to connect 152 column it is a bit difficult to adjust, but anyway it is very helpful for me for the future .
