Stagger bolt option of gusset plate joint

As below attached screenshot, we will put stagger bolt type in gusset plate joint. However, there is no option in gusset plate joint, do you have another way or joint?

For something like this, it might be easier to turn off the bolts in the connection properties and manually add the bolts.

Thanks for replay. it will be alternative one. 

 

However, still remain issues

In the joint macro, input 0 on bolt numbers, then unable to control gusset plate size.

Another one, stagger bolt option is not on manual bolting.

We are still doing condition by condition, there are many different bracing angles. pain

There is an alternate answer here, use regular connection

then remove bolts manually & use below

However i have seen 11 bolts in your connection, this works only for even nos. of bolts

My current procedure is that I create the even number of bolts through the Bolts on beam tool and the last bolt manually, but this isn't 100% what we need.

stagger and slot hole are required in many cases.

I could say options are available on common connection

Need to add this option in more joint macro. 

It is possible to create with several steps, however unacceptable works. pain, too much time for modeling.

 

1. create bolt with macro, correct distance settings

2. delete macro box

3. Set UCS along angle bracing

4. Create bolts 

5. Split bolt group

6. Set UCS

7. Move one row of bolt as stagger type

8. Delete last one bolt

or create two separate lines with a different start  distance and different number of bolts (even / odd) ... in your case two separate groups

Use the 2x the macro "bolts on beam" (one row each time) if possible and create two separate bolt groups by that with different settings
