SMLX file from Robot 2023 isn't working on Advance Steel 2023

Hello everyone!

I'm working in a structure developed with Robot 2023 and I'm not able to open SMLX file in Advance Steel 2023. The attached video shows the SMLX file generated with Robot and opened Advance Steel 2023 that has no errors and nothing is imported.

Please, let me know if you have any idea how to solve this in my machine.

Can you try to import With the import from revit button

And can you attach the robot file ?

I tried with Import from Revit button, but it didn't work as well. Please see attached video.

I realized that both button (import from Revit and Advance Import) activate the same command: _AstM4CommGREXModelToAstor

Advance Steel 2023 was uninstalled and installed again with Hotfix 2, but still not working.

Do you have any procedure to make a clean uninstall of Advance Steel 2023?

hi @vanderson.mapdata ,

use some special tool for uninstall, eg. Total Uninstall, etc. It removes really many files/directories/registry entries, which Windows uninstallation cannot handle. Pay attention to what they offer you to remove.

Thanks a lot @bigcarl5000kg and @AntDrt to help me with this trouble in my computer.

I used Total Uninstall to uninstall Advance Steel 2023 and AutoCAD 2023. AutoCAD 2023 and Advance Steel 2023 were reinstalled and now it's being working well.

Now I'm able to open SMLX file with Advance Steel 2023

@AntDrt , it wasn't necessary to reinstall the Robot addin
