Side palm handrail post bolted to beam toe plate

Can anyone advise on the best way to achieve this type of handrail post connection? One of our clients likes to place a toe plate between the flanges of the beam and then use a side palm post with a bolted connection. None of the options in the handrail macro appear to allow anything quite the same as this. Is there a way to create a custom post connection? Can AS associate the toe plates with the post so that they will move with the post if anything is altered?

Any advice or guidance is greatly appreciated.

Hello @Totec_MW

Thank you for using Advance Steel forum!

You can easily create a custom connection with the post and any other objects by using the functionality Create connection template (This is a very useful Webinar).

If moving the post, all the objects connected to the post, by custom connection, will follow.

Can you be more clear when you said: "Can AS associate the toe plates with the post so that they will move with the post if anything is altered?"

Thank you and have a good day,

Roxana

Thank you Roxana, I will watch the webinar and hopefully it will help me resolve my issue.

My question "Can AS associate the toe plates with the post so that they will move with the post if anything is altered?" was aimed at trying to find out how to make sure that if I make any changes to the handrailing that may affect the pitch of the posts (which is set automatically by the handrailing macro), would the toe plate automatically relocate to match the new post position rather than me having to manually move it.

I will try and create a custom connection and see how it goes. Thanks again for taking the time to reply to my query.
