Advance Steel 2019

Is there any way to modify the O.O.T.B. column bubbles?

I would like to:

-Change the "oval" to a circle

-Rotate the text so it's horizontal

-Remove bubbles at one end

See attached. Thank you!

To change oval to circle use management tools or double click the grid in the GA and change the balloon /frame to circle, uncheck the ticked boxes to turn off the circles.

I have made the changes in the Management Tools, but I only have two options when editing the grid... None or Edging. See attachment. There must be another step I am missing??  Thanks for your help.

Also, I do not have the grips when I highlight the grid like you show in your screen capture.

.. and is there a way to rotate the bubbles?

Thanks for your help!

Hi,

like mick wrote, is not to change the bubbles in model, you can change this in the drawing with click in grid.

You can have two options, one is what I showed you before you in Management Tools. This is a absolute setting for all projects.

The second way is what mick wrote but only for this drawing.

Are you saying these settings can not be changed in the model and only on a drawing?  In my last screen capture, shouldn't I be seeing other options besides None and Edging in the Balloon(Frame): drop down?

Hi,

this option is only for grid in model, but it has nothing to do with how it is depicted on the drawing.

But it has nothing to do with how it is depicted on the drawing:

At the end you need the drawings for manufacturing and construction on site.

You can change this in drawing but only for this one drawing or glabaly in Managament Tools for all drawins

General Arrangement or any elevation, end view or plan view that has been generated using a drawing style or process that has grid lines in it.

Not the model.

Ok, I understand now... I guess I wasn't clear in my initial question. I am viewing a model and have not generated any drawings yet. I was trying to make these changes in the model and not on a drawing. Sorry for the confusion... Ugh!
