I'm importing a smlx file that has been exported from Autodesk Plant 3D into Advanced Steel and then export it again to Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis.
The person who produced the model in Autodesk Plant 3D doesn't extend the section members to the system line, but cuts the sections short to the web face or the flange face. For the analytical model in Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis the bar elements need to meet in a single node point. For example the where four beams I beams connect to a I column.
Is there away to extend all the beams to the nearest system line without having to go through the whole structure and extend the beams one by one?
