Rollover Tooltips weird behavior

I'm trying to setup the rollover tips in the CUI and it works for some items and not for others. For example, ASTBEAM, I check all the properties under the "Section" Category and when I test it it doesn't work, but I do get the weight. When I go back to the CUI, the section properties duplicate itself, so I see "Profile, Section Class" twice. I checked them all again, and it still doesn't work. I go back to the CUI and now the category duplicates itself a third time. Does anyone have this issue?

Restart your computer.

Try it again.

if you still see the same issues, consider resetting your software back to defaults

Its a bit strange,  but when you have the rollover tooltips setup correctly, the trick is to hover over a beam first when you open the 1ste model of the day.(every day).If you hover over a plate 1ste you get that sometimes. But normally if you just restart Advance steel it will get rid off the duplicates.

gave it shot, still doesn't work. I'm going to try to just recover an old CUI

It was easier to just recover the original CUI and start over. It seem to be working just fine now.  Last time I added a bunch of objects and started checking properties. This time I added one or two objects at a time and then checked boxes. So far so good

That's interesting. I see if this is an issue going forward

+++ impossible immediately and miracles within 3 days +++

+++ since 03/2023 is Advance Steel in maintenance mode, no further development +++

Oh wow, you're right! This is a bit upsetting lol. I don't think I can blame AS for this, it's an Autocad issue I suppose.

At least with this method it can be avoided 😊
