We are using AS 2021. Is there a way to break a connection so I can delete some but not all of it's parts? If we try to explode it the whole thing disappears. I don't want to go so far as to have 3d solids, the parts need to remain AS parts.

Just select the grey joint box and delete just that , it will leave behind the advance steel elements, plates, welds etc.

But it will not be a macro joint any more, it is now manually elements etc.
