Project Phases

We have a large project that is being detailed in 3 or 4 separate phases.

If we detailed the first level and issued the drawings for it, then how can I renumber the rest of the job without re-numbering the previously detailed items?  

We are required to produce drawings for the separate levels on the job as we work our way up, so we are going to face this problem all the way up the building.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated, thanks all.

Run numbering again existing model objects retain their number properties, new objects for new phases are assigned new numbers.

Only if you have deleted numbering will new numbers be assigned.
