project base point for IFC files

Dear All,

 

My client is asking to share my model in BIM360.  i am not familiar with Revit also . They asked me move to the particular gird intersection as per their co-ordination point as attached  in rvt format and ifc format . anybody can advise on this.

@desigan2015  first you have the select all the model including connection boxes and welds use CTRl+Shift+C to cut the model select the pick point at given grid intersection than paste the model items at give coordinates as shown in your picture than generate the ifc .Also be sure these coordinates are world ucs in As

@desigan2015   In addition north means Y value is 28987.506 far from origin 0,0 and east means x direction value 5179.731 from origin both values need to be positive . Please do it in copy model because your erection drawings cameras sections are linked to member location

be carefull with moving a modell. As @ArjunGaba  already wrote, it's important to select all objects! 

And additonal: the AutoCAD drawing area has "limitations". If you move the model to east:65000meters...this is 65000000mm...this is far away from the world UCS. AutoCAD (in this case Advacne Steel) doesn't like object which are so far away from the World UCS (0,0,0). 

This could occurs problems with Copy, rotate, mirror or creating details in Advance Steel---just for information

Try using Base (command) to move the current UCS to required coordinates.
