PDF showing up in GA drawings

I imported a PDF into a model. I drew some components around the detail. I was wondering if it is possibe to get the PDF to show up on my GA drawings? Does any one know the answer to this?

No , the pdf will not show up.

You can add pdf manually to drawing, as you added it to your model.

When importing the PDF file, you can choose to import it as a block (if the PDF is vectorized and not a scanned image). This will convert the PDF items into 2D elements. The block will show up in the drawing.

@vlad.capraruH4T4S Which layer does the block need to be on for it to appear in the drawings?  I'm still having no luck with this.

Hi,

The block does not need to be on any special layer. Presuming you use Cameras to create your GA views you need to tick the Default "Drawing general > General > Allow detailing of CAD entities in Camera Views". Then any AutoCAD objects within the camera scope (including your block) will show in the resulting view. You can turn the Default off again afterwards. The state of the Default does not affect updates as each view knows the status when it was created.
