Wondering if it's possible to move the angle up an 1" and  add grout underneath for a stair anchor angle? I've attached my drawing and the other image is what I want to do.

Assuming the functionality is not allready in the makro, then the easiest option is to delete the joint box and move angle up manually.

Can be done, you just need to experiment a bit when choosing the reference point.

Same result with different ref points.

Just after you select the stringer.

ok I see what you're talking about, I'm just having trouble getting my reference point to work. are you drawing lines to where you want the angle to be placed then picking the endpoint or intersection?

Once you have chosen a ref point select cut layout and size from ref point.

If you open the attached dwg you can see what settings I used.

LH stringer was the first ref point, RH stringer the second ref point.

Thanks for your help, I figured it out, what I did was move my ucs up 1" to the height I wanted my angle to be from the bottom of the stair stringer, then I changed the cut back and projection #2. and it seems to be the way I would like it.
