Somehow I have exploded/deleted the boxes that control the intelligence of the portal frames I have created in a job. Is there anyway to regain/reapply the intelligence of the frames?

if UNDO doesn't work and you've already closed the file once, there's no way get the intelligence back.
I was hoping there was someway similiar to "custom connection" tool so the portal frames could be recombined. But C'est la vie
Custom connection = local connection & no frame macro 😁
We all would like more, but it is already missing in the basic functions 😉 a lot
Hi @muleman1
To avoid deleting joint boxes you could turn off or freeze the layer as you don't really need the joint box to get the dialogue box to appear.
Don't lock the layer as this won't let access the dialogue box.
if you delete one part of the macro, the whole macro disappears completely. The same situation. You need to make the right steps in time.
BUT it often depends on how you gained knowledge and experience with Advance Steel. Many users cannot or do not want to take basic or extension courses, where similar basic knowledge is literally hammered into their heads 😁😁😁. I don't want to criticize, but to help. A lot of solutions have also been answered x times here in the forum. A little effort and desire... and the result will arrive served on a silver platter.
As my math professor used to say - listen and you will hear the numbers sing 😉.
@muleman1 I added an idea a while ago about reverse engineering joints.
If you joint box gets deleted the model roles remain so it would be great if you could select those items and click a command to create portal for example. 😉
