Increase the size of span symbol

I was wondering if there was a way to increase the size of the symbol so it's easier to see in a larger model and when viewed externally in Navisworks

Hi, 

The symbol used for the grating is a plain AutoCAD DWG file created and stored under the symbols folder of the Advance steel folder within program data. 

you maybe able to backup the original and then adjust the size of the span elements in that file to better reflect your requirements. 
also there are a series of setting under the management tool defaults that interact with the span symbol and grating hatch etc.    from recollection they only affect the use of the hatch and the scale and type of  hatch used.
