How to do parametric customised connection for girder (Beam member)?

Hello, 

I am facing the problem in changing the customized connection for 

beam members (Tapered beams) because of parametric issue.

I have created one customized connection for tapered beams and I want to use that same customized connection for joining different size tapered beams with parametric.

Why do you use a custom connection? In the last time I got the feeling, to much users just custom connections instead of looking for a conenction in the conn
