Hi fellows,
How can I add shackles and wire rope clips into the database and get it numbered and considered afterwards in the bill of materials ?
(I tried adding 3D Solid for representation but I rather use the smart way along the BIM database)

Take the solids of the shackles, put them in separate plain autocad files, with a part ref as the file name.
tyen insert them into the model as special parts, once in the model they are seen as AS elements.
make sure the part file has the parts insert point you wish at the 0,0,0.
search AKN for advance steel special parts.
