You can double click the label and then edit the text as required, add tokens etc. You can also edit the labeling strategies in the Drawing Style Manager for a more permanent solution.

Kind Regards,

Hello,

From the Drawing Style Manager you can modify the contents of the Title by adding or removing tokens.

The same tokens are available after generating the drawings if you edit the title.

If yo already generated the drawings, you can edit one title the way you want in the drawing, and then paste the content to the next title. But be careful to copy paste the contents of the title and not the title (you must copy paste the content of the 3-rd picture).

Hey Travis,

The suggestions offered by the guys should work. Have you copy pasted the content? If so, did you copy the text or the code (need to click on the reverse "p" so you can actually see the token information and copy that). should look like Adrian's third pic.

Failing that, I would start with the following:

- Go back to your detail style and make sure the tokens are there.

- Make sure you re-load the databases (preferably re-start AS).

- Delete old drawing and run new one.

Hope it helps...

You need to make sure you use tokens...

Quick overview on how to change title of detail (I didn't apply the changes because I didn't want to overwrite my styles, but you have to. Don't forget to re-load into AS).

Cheers.

Not sure what you mean. Before or after you create them? Do you know how a detail style works?

The detail style used relates back to the detail style maps in the drawing process. Not something that's easy to explain...

Suggest you change all of the 5-assemblies headings. Since it looks like you are using the Australian build, I can confirm some of the Assemblies styles are used also. What I would suggest you do is:

-Firstly change all of the 5-Assemblies styles (they are pretty much all used at one stage or another).

-When you find a drawing that still has the old heading, have a look at what style is used (detail properties in the detail drawing), go back to the drawing style manager, find that style, change the heading, re-run the drawing.

As a general rule, if you don't know what style has been used,  have a look at the detail properties (larger green frame around whole detail). Box in lower left corner tells you the style used...

All changes are done in the User section, the advance sections cannot be changed...

-Did you re-load the databases?

-When you re-ran the drawings, did you use the "user" process or the "Advance " process?

Ok,

Every change you make, whether defaults, MT, detail styles, processes.... is committed to a database (whichever that might be). When you open advance, the databases with all the settings get loaded. If you make a change to a setting (database) you need to reload. This is done by, either restarting AS or in the ribbon home tab, settings, next to the management tools button, you'll see a button that looks like a water tank with a recycle symbol (Update defaults). Click this and it will re-load the databases.

As far as user against advance settings. You will see that every pallete has a flag, this is the flag of the installation country. I think in your case Australia. This is important, because it's telling you that whatever function you choose will implement advance (factory) settings. If you click on the flag, you will see a picture of a man (or should I say person Smiley Happy). This indicates that you will be executing that command in accordance with the "user" settings. That is, your own customised version.

Hi iwafb

How can I talk directly to you? I need to ask a few questions in depth about advanced steel on what's its capability.
