Holes on inclined plate

Hello everyone

I'm trying to place holes on an inclined plate but, for some reason the holes don't appear on the same level as the plate, as shown below.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Hi @Anonymous

When modelling holes your the XY plane of the UCS needs to set at the same level of the plate.

If the plate is at an angle then the UCS needs to be set to the same angle.

The move UCS and UCS at object can be found on the UCS tab. For the UCS at Object make sure you can see the whole object on the screen before using the command.

@Anonymous  please set local ucs on object by using ucs command and then by placing x,y direction along member you can make local x,y along inclined member than you can add any items to inclined member in its direction...

or you can also use ucs set at object and then by locking rotation of x,y,z plane as per  below snap you can achived it...ucs.jpg
