Using A.S. 2023

I think I may almost be at my last issue with Advance Steel. I have read every thread I can find on this issue, nothing seems to work. I am able to get my Steel Sections hatched, but they are always Solid, regardless of the scale I set in the Table Editor. Is there something else that controls the scale or pattern? I have attached screen captures of all my settings. Help is appreciated...

While I am on this subject, assuming it can be solved: When you have a section through two or more parts, can the direction of the hatching be in apposing directions? (Standard Detailing Practices). See attachment "hatching". This would be the desired result.

You have to edit the hatch settings in both "AstorDetails" and "AstorCurrentAddin"

Here are my hatch settings:

The settings for "AstorDetails" and "AstorCurrentAddin" are identical.

Thanks Jonathan,

I do realize that both these areas of the program need to be setup, but all I do is continuously change numbers around and end up with the same results. Why is this so complicated? If I change all of my settings to match yours, I still get the same results; solid filled sections.

I finally figured out the problem. The hatch naming was not correct. If you see my original screen capture, I had ANSI131 and should have been ANSI31 or better yet ANSI32... I still feel these settings are way over complicated. Should just be an option to turn hatching on or off and Advance Steel should be using ANSI Hatching standards out of the box. I'll check the suggestions forum to see if this is requested.
