I have a handrail on both sides of a stair run. Both have the same data in the connection box, can someone show me how to solve this problem. The two parts circled should be the same.

Hi,

 

My first guess would be that the selected end points for the two rails do not line up exactly. You can see the tiny white balls marking the selected end points. You can move those using the grips in the centre of them.

 

Then check the Joint Properties and make sure the railing end properties match in both joints.
