Ghost objects in IFC export

I'm getting 'ghost" objects in my IFC export. AS you'll see in the screenshot the AS model shows one stair in its proper position. The IFC viewer shows 2 stairs, one in the creation position prior to being moved and rotated. I have tried audits and purging with no success. What is going on?

could you upload your model? Only by having a look on pics, it's not possible to find the problem

you have a frozen layer called "existing Steel" ...unfreeze it and voila...

I really don't know how they got on that layer, or become frozen.
