Gauge Line Error

when assigning the custom connection to custom created shapes "Gauge are not Present showing". What is the gauge line.?? Why this error comes when assigning the bolt set to the plates. ??

you may need to share your example connection for anyone to comment, very difficult to understand without this.
Gauge lines are predefined measurements across beam flanges for bolt placement,  they are typically included in the profile definition, is they are added to the relative database.

I have Created a custom shape of beam and when I am going to  connect these beams through L type plate and when inserting bolt for plate this is showing "Gauge Line are not Present", I want to ask Where I have to defined these Gauge Lines .

the gauge lines could not be defined in user sections because only standard profile have these. They are defined in the databases and called "w1, w2, ...":

If you want to use a connection (as you show) for bolt on gaugelines, these information is for sure needed.

If you show us your user section, maybe we found a way for you

ok this will not work with gaugelines. I would use a user connection brick for bolts:
