Finding Bolt by the Length - Model Browser

Hello everyone, 

I have six 1"x1-3/4" bolts that I have no idea where they are in my model. Is there a way that I can search this similar to what is done regarding the parts and assemblies when using the model browser?

You can select bolts from here and isolate them.

Hi @camaral5KTL2 

You can use a search query, in your tool palette go to the selection tab. Then top left use the search button

You can then set up a search that looks for bolts, scroll down to the bolts tab and you can type in to search fir a specific length

This one helps a bit, but I still have the problem of not showing the length. For instance, I see they are 3/4" bolts, but I don't know which length they are.

How do a Set up a search tool for this? It seems it should be something easy to do, but I am not getting how I can browse these bolts that I need.

Normally if I am looking for bolts that a different or miss labelled I can tell from the quantity in the list or isolate each variety until I find the ones I am looking for.  That is the quickest way, you can use the filtering tool to find objects however it just takes a bit longer to setup the search filter.

Having bolts included in the Model Browser would be ideal however that request has been ignored by the software vendor for 10 years so if it hasn't been resolved already it never will.  Finding workarounds is your next best option.
