EXTRUDE CUT ALONG POLYLINE

Hi all, I have a question regarding the best way to extrude a non uniform profile such as the one attached picture. It will be a concrete feature that doesn't have significance in my model but I would like to include it for appearances. Is there a way to extrude the sketch directly, or failing that how do I create an extruded cut along this poly line through a solid extruded object. Thank you!

I answered my own question by creating two solid extrusions and then the subtract command

You could have also modelled the conrete as a concrete slab then used the polygon contour command to cutout the polyline
