End plate component model role

I can't add model role in plate.

Thus, when performing numbering there is no single part prefix.

Unless I add manually the prefix to plate. And in the prefix configuration I already add assign prefix to plate.

What is your installed version? 
Do you use the "endplate" joint for it? because this should have an automatic modelrole.
If you use another joint like base plate, the plate should have a role too, could you have a look if this is working?

Maybe your Astorrules is not working correct.

2019 model sir, yes I used "endplate" joint.

Upon trying also "shear plate" joint. Same there is no model role and I add it manually the prefix.

Yes sir maybe your right Astorrules is not working and I'm trying to look at it, and I can't figure it out.

Have a look if you have full read/Wright rights to this folder. 

But if the Astorrules is not working the joints should not work in no case. What installation language do you use international?

You mean in the management tools if I have an access to modify it? yes sir.

Astor joint sir is working only the model role will be automatically appear.

We use US installation language.

Not yet solve.

I noticed all component joint box with plate connection (i.e. base plate, shear plate etc..) model role cannot be filled up.

Even though I set already in a prefix settings that plate profile is (p) it will not automatically filled up.

What I am doing is after numbering I will filled up manually with a prefix (p).

Do have tried to make a clean new installation?
I would do the following:

• Uninstall Advance Steel
• rename the folder  "C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Advance Steel 2019" to another name, because this folder will not be changed by uninstall
• reinstall Advance make some tests.

For now sir I can't do it.

Because we have an on-going job. We will just do manually to filled-up prefix for plates.

Maybe after this job I will ask the attention of our IT if this can be done.
