DXF files for folded beam

Hello everyone,

1. I would like to add the single part mark on the folded beam as it does for the plate

Hi,

The part number should appear on the DXf for a beam exactly the same as it does for a plate. Of course, the beam is generally a lot bigger so the fixed-size text will appear much smaller in relation to the beam.

You cannot suppress the second view of a beam; that is only possible for plates. A DXF is only another AutoCAD format so you can always open and edit the file manually.

so you can't suppress the 2nd view, what exactly is the second view of? The opposite side? I would've thought that view would be mirror but it just looked like a copy

I found the solution in a seperate post, also from @crydee-AG2

If I use DXF(Plates) not DXF(All) on the unfolded beam, I wont get the second view.
