Hi,
try looking at the necessary view wizard, this controls if the view is actually generated, if the view does not have any holes or features , the rules in that wizard may say to turn it off.
the tool is under the drawing style panel.
oh and telnet if you are in user part you need to set rules in user part of the wizard.
