Is there a way to cut a steel angle's leg down? I need a 6"x1 1/2" steel angle that will be cut from a 6"x4" by shearing off part of the 4" leg.
I have tried cutting at UCS, cutting at object (with a temporary beam), element contour rule, and shortening. All of these only allow me to edit the beam length wise. i can create a user section to show the profile needed however I was wondering if it was possible to get the program to do this for me as it is a somewhat common thing our shop does. I appreciate any help in advance.
