i have created an custom list for concrete elements to get volume. i have used the formula to get to the correct volume but now i dont seem to have an summery option on the volume. has anyone tried this before.

hi Sebastian thax it works, but i am struggling to get the qty added, see attached image 2 shows 1 no slab, image 2 shows 2 no of the same slab but it does not add the qty to my formula, i have on my (volume each the formula IWeight/IDensity) that works, but for my volume total i need to add qty also but it does not seem to work i even tried the formula IGlobalWeight/IDensity.

you had to use the formula for globalweight/density*quantitiy

hi Sebastian i got it right the trick was to change the second formula to formula2 see attached.

don't use globalweight, you had to use weight*quantity/density

yes by using formulas, ever formula need to have a specific name, by copying the field, this will not be changed automatic
