Curved I section as Rafter,Channel as Purlin and their Connection

As shown in the below image and dwg file,If it is possible to create a curved I beam as a rafter,their flange was connected to the channel flange as a purlin and it was connected by a custom plate connection.To do so Please share your ideas?

I beam-Red;Channel-Green;Connection-Blue

I would go like this:

• explode the 3D solid to a region then explode again to have lines
• I wanted to use PEDIT, but it didn't work, so I just recreate the outercontour as polyline by using the endpoints of the lines
• after this: beam on polyine:

Nice Idea for this rafter Creation @Sebastian_Eiche Thanks a lot.I created the purlin over that beam but it is not connected to the flange of rafter show in the image below

 

so How to create that Channel Purlin and that connection respectively?Do you any idea?

the purlin macro is always planar, I think you will had to create the beam manual and copy it.

Hai @Sebastian_Eiche  The method you mentioned is suitable for small number of beam to be placed.But if we want to use for many beams what to do?Do you suggest any plugins or add on for this?

I don't think there's a plugin for this, there could not be a plugin for everything, some things had to be done by the human which use the software

Yeah It's True what you mentioned @Sebastian_Eiche .But No one understands the humans only working on.Because everyone wants some fast output with premium quality so thats Why I am asking.The problem is the placing UCS on the curved beam.I found it is difficult to place.Do you have any ideas on that?
