Hi,

When I want to create a single part drawing, I get a message of "could not create file".

And when it does create drawings, there is no image only label information that is also not correct.

I thought it could be because I inserted text into my model but even when I remove all text it still does the same.  See screenshots above. It must be something in this model. If I open an existing model and create drawings, there is no problem.  And when I create a new model and create drawings there is not problem.

What could be the problem?  I have attached my 3D Model.

Thank you

Regards,

Riette

Nice tollbars,...😁  I still have most of them,

What I have noticed first, you don't have model roles assigned.

So if you have been trying to use processes, they wouldn't work.

If no model roles are assigned, then you have to use Drawings Styles, I just detailed one MP, and everything looks great.

Also-please check the prototypes, open and save each one in AS version you are using.

GA drawings-UCS should be always positioned at the center of the views you are trying to create.

If it is made of steel, I can model it and detail it.

Hi Ilke,

Thank you for your reply. I don't like the ribbons 🙂

I assigned model roles.  I also opened and saved the prototypes.  Used Drawing Styles to create drawings but still the same.

if the file could not be created, maybe the filepath is to long or you don't have the permissions for writing and reading the folder?
Could you try to save you model in another folder, maybe in the documents folder where the user should have all writing rights

Hi Sebastian,

Thank you for your reply.  I am all sorted now.  I copied the 3D Model into a new page and then everything worked perfectly.

Thank you.
