Create Elevation View in model

Dear All,

How to create any elevation view in the model by grid or line, and in this view can show Grid same as my picture below, when I active my view it is not show my grid and level?

Grid in elevation views no possible in model space. Just in drawings.

you can use Project explorer for different grids and elevations if you want

I believe "3D Grid Line" is the only reasonable solution of this. Let's all close our eyes and make a wish.

Hi,

You can set your UCS vertical and draw a grid on a vertical plane. Then you will see this in the elevation view.

HI sir, We dont want same Grid label in elevation view. We want to view Elevation level (El.+000) in Gridline elevation view in model space. Please refer snap. we want to see same as in Model space. Regards, Anwar

Hi Anwar,
I couldn't find any command in Advance Steel showing Elevation level Grids likewise in E3D or S3D. Let me know if you have got any resolution to your question.

Hello. You can create the grids vertically as indicated by @AleckGiles and name them according to their elevations. Create one grid for each elevation and edit the name of the grid, within the grid properties, with the elevation information, so you will have what you desire. It's an alternative method, but it should work."
