Create BOM Template

Hi all,

I'm having a little trouble creating/editing BOM Templates in both structured, and parts lists. I know I have to copy the file I want to edit into the user templates, but for some reason I cannot do that. does anyone have any information on why this would be?

Thanks, StevenBom Editor.png

So if under the user branch of the bom editor file tree, you cannot select the template, to highlight it and then right mouse button to open the contextual menu to select the copy template option.

I can do that, I can copy it into the user database. But when I go to find the copy it isn't there.Bom Editor Copying.png

Hmm,

It should work, as typically all copies go into the user part by default path.

Maybe check your read write properties of the astoraddin database, this is where the entries are stored in various tables.

Have you tried a different name convention when copying.
