Countersunk Floor plate

Hi all, I am trying to create a bolted floor plate by using countersunk screws in 10mm checker plate. 

Can someone please help as I cant seem to get the bolt command with standard hex bolts to create the holes in the checker plate, let alone a countersunk hole. The floor plate will be supported by a PFC and the hole is created in the structural member but not the checker plate created with the variable grating command.

I would say it is the bolt you have to change.

How did you add the bolts?

I think the connectors are flooring clips for grating?

Hi,

is the checker plate added to the bolted connection at all? if so, it should be listed in the list of hole types of the bolts.

If it is not part of the connection you can use the connection objects/ "add parts to connection" command add it.

You willl see the countersunk hole as a volume body, if you set the representation type of the checker plate to "standard", "exact" or "exact with hatch".

I did some tests, I do not have any problems. If my comments did not help you, would you please upload a drawing the shows your problems?

I have tried it again this morning and I it seems to work now. Yesterday it didnt want to put the hole in the plate when I used the center bolt from the connection tab even tho I selected the plate and member.

I dont think I did anything different today but thanks for the replies
