hello beautiful people of Autodesk.
I need your help once again.
I'm using Advance Steel 2015 and I'm trying to make a corner finish on a beam using parametric notch - joint. I was expecting the champer on top and bottom will be to its extent but when I did it it appeared short. It applies to any beam I work with which takes so much time. is there something I should do with, perhaps, the setting to make adjustments.
Please refer to the attached pics.
Please please help.

Have you got a screenshot of the dialog box with the parameters on it?

Hi,
In the Parametric Notch - Joint properties dialog, on the Parameters page, you need to set the Corner finish option to straight instead of none.
This is not generally remembered or stored but you could make a library entry and name it "Default" in the comment column. Then those settings will be the default settings used whenever you place that joint and there is no better match in the library table.
I hope that helps.

Hello @TomislavGolubovic . Thanks for the response. I've attached here the pic of the parameter dialog box. I think I've missed to tell you that I'm working on 'built-up PG girder (welded beam)'. This process works on normal beam but not with a welded one. Please help me with this.
Thanks so much in advance.

Hello @Anonymous. Thanks so much for the response. It did work with normal beams but I need the same thing for a welded beam (built-up girder). I've attached another detail pic. Please see it and please help once more. Please.
Thanks so much in advance
