change plate header on bom material list

Hello dears.
How can I make the bom "material list
summary" divide the plates by thicknesses in inches?
Currently it separates them into metric units,
I understand that it is because I have the "templete units" configured in metric units, but if I configure the units in meters it divides them, for example, the 3/8 and 1/2 plate because they are 9.5 mm and 12.7 mm considers them in a single set, but if I change the units to cms it does separate them, but I don't want the header name them in metric units, I hope have explained myself, I attach some images so that you understand better.

If I change the "template units" to inches, the beam lengths will be modified to inches and I don't want that.

Why don't you simply change the length unit to Inches?

because change the length unit in all the profiles, beams and plates.
