Can't make Moment connection cutback

Using Advance Steel 2023.

See attached screen capture. I can't get the macro to cutback the top and bottom bevels so it looks like the sketch I made. No matter how I play with the numbers I circled in the macro, it will do everything except what I need. Help is very much appreciated.

@advandes

This should be done per screenshot below:

If you need to switch sides:

And maybe it is worth mentioning- we must pay attention if we have another macro such as a shear plate at the same joint-shear plate cut shall be 1/4", not 1/2" as usual.

If it is made of steel, I can model it and detail it.

Thanks, but maybe I wasn't clear in what I am requesting. If you see the sketch I made on my attachment, you will see that the required moment connection has the beam web protruding past the root bevel by 1/4" and not flush. Maybe this macro simply can't make this happen. Thanks for looking at my post...

In this case just copy the bevel  1/4 and drag the contour.

If you have many locations maybe it would be worth combining in a custom connection.

I only had two places like that, so creating a custom connection was not necessary. Your solution was creative and informative... Thank you!
