Caged Ladder rings not showing up in IFC Export

Using Advance Steel 2025. I have a finished caged ladder exported to IFC and the Rings are not showing up. Does anyone have any experience with this and know is there is a solution? I've attached the Advance Steel file and a screen capture of the IFC file. Thanks for any help.

It is because the Ladder macro uses Polybeams for the cages and the out of the box IFC Exporter can't handle those objects along with Special Parts, Anchors, Curved Beam, Concrete or Timber Beams etc.

Exporting IFC files in Advance Steel is a bad idea, they use outdated technology for exporting IFC files. I suggest you use Navisworks instead.

I would agree that not all IFC Exporters are equal.    With the right tools, the IFC schema can be an extremely viable method for sharing Advance Steel models to other applications or platforms.  The Link below demonstrates one workflow to take Advance Steel models and associated BIM data to Omniverse.

It works OK for me in AS2025.

That is very interesting.  Maybe the AdS 2025 IFC Exporter can handle Polybeams.

I haven't tested the 25 version yet.

@advandes Standard AS export IFC and BIMvision free viewer.

Both work with standard export to Navisworks also.

So, this exporting IFC files has been a request from a client of mine for a number of years now, and I had been instructed to use the "Export IFC MVD EM.11" option. When I use the other option "Export IFC2x3" it works fine. This is not my expertise and I have no idea what the difference is, or why one works and the other doesn't, but I'm sure there will be issues using either option. Thanks everyone for your help!
