Bom editor - feet inches (minus sign between) possible to remove?

Hello all. 

In the 2019 version when I made an external list using bom editor, with _length_ set to feet and inches, it would show in the list without the minus sign. For example  5' 6 1/2"

Yet in 2021 there now shows a minus sign. For example 5'- 6 1/2"

Does anyone know if it is possible to turn off this minus sign? 

We use a software to parse through our lists and this minus sign is messing it up.

Spent over two hours looking for the setting in Bom editor and changing table entries in the databases.

Why would a setting for external list be located under "Drawing Presentation"??? 😰
