Hi,
Before i start 'fudging' notes on a drawing, can anyone assist with blind tapped holes.
I want an M10 blind tapped hole 8mm deep (lets ignore the incorrect thread depth for a moment, its not structural)
Although the label dialogue says 9.1mm, the drawing label shows 9mm. I've edited the dim style (0.00) and tried to add a decimal point in the label dialogue in drawing styles but nothing seems to work. Image below for clarity.
I've probably got the process wrong so a point in the right direction would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,
A couple of points for starters:-
You cannot do a blind threaded hole in Advance Steel. The tapping hole always goes right through the part. the Depth is the depth of the thread in the through hole.
The Holes Tolerance must be zero for a tapped hole or you are calling up a different thread size in the hole than the bolt. In your case a M9.1 hoe for an M10 bolt.
To call up the tapping hole size in the label use the token "Bolt Head Dia".
