Hello,
I want to let the user select the edge of a plate. I found that it is possible to sub-entity-select a 3dsolid in AutoCAD, but it doesnt work on Advance Steel objects. I am fairly new to everything AutoCAD related, so is there something implemented in Advanced Steel for that or can I manipulate that AutoCAD sub-entity-select mechanism for Advance Steel objects?
My last idea is that I somehow have the user select a point, dont know yet how to do this, and this point should be ideally be "in" my plate already and I search for the nearest edge manual with all the points I have from the plate. I would appreciate any advice in the right direction.
