Hi,
I believe "shear plate" and "fin plate" are the same thing just named differently in different countries.
When using Equal Angles it is very hard to tell which leg is considered the flange and which is the web. However, the Fin / Shear Plate joint will always place the plate on the WEB of the beam. Hence in your pictures I believe you will find the web is the horizontal leg. (For unequal angles the long leg is the web).
You could rotate the angle by 90deg and then mirror it, but I would recommend redrawing the angle picking the end points in the opposite sequence. According to your images drawing from bottom right to top left and then rotating by 180deg should give you the angle in the correct orientation without using the mirror option. (The mirror option can confuse some joints so I prefer to avoid it if I can).
