Advance steel not starting

I installed the Advance Steel 30 day trial but I can't start the program. When I click on the icon nothing is happening.

Ok, I fixed it by reinstalling Autocad 2015 trial.

As you would like to know Advance Steel is an add-on to AutoCAD so if you dont have any up to date versions of AutoCAD Advance Steel wont start..You can run the trial version of AutoCAD to run the trial of Advance Steel.

Hi

I tried down loading the advanced steel software it failed to run, I got an error message that the key was not recognised, does it mean i also have toreinstall my revit student.

Hi @mjoflor,

I'm making an assumption you are trying to install Autodesk Advance Steel 2015, Product Key is 959G1. However if you do have Autodesk Advance Steel 2015 with AutoCAD Product Key is 958G1.

The current updated Advance Steel Trial download now appears to be version 2015.1 in which case you will need to use product code 958G2

Hi, I have autocad architecture version installed on the computer and i just installed the Advanced steel, but it does not work. It gives the same error ! Do i really have to install autocad (alone) ?
