Advance Steel Export to STAAD - Section and Material Mapping

I am having a bit of difficulty exporting an AS model into STAAD (.stp) format. I'm using AS 2019, English (US) language pack. I opened the GTCMapping.mdf file within Management Tools via the Table Editor, but I'm not sure which fields to edit.

For example, under STD_Application, STAAD is listed as a Key value of 103. Under STD_Profile_Conversiion, say I want to translate a W10x26. The Application value for this is listed as 105. I've changed the Application value under STD_Profile_Conversion, but it still does not seem to export properly. What am I missing? Does anyone have a step-by-step on how to map sections and materials for STAAD? Any help is appreciated...

why do you want to change the mapping? By using the Export command, the file will be created as it should be set for Staad, if this is not working, the mapping of importing in staad should be change or not?

It's like you get a file from another company, by importing the file and not knowing a profile, Advance Steel ask you which profile this is and then you set it, and this setting is save in the mapping table.

You're saying I have to manually type in the correct mapping for every entry when I try to export to STD? See attached for an example. There are hundreds, if not thousands, of elements I would have to do this for.

no you could do this in the table but I thought this is only needed by importing the file.
If you want to add here line, the application number is "103" for staad (could be seen in the table "STD_Application"), the SDNF Name is the name you want to add, and the HS Name is combination of the TypeNameText (cpould be found in the ProfileMasterTable of the AstorProfiles and the profilename itself with an extra partcode: #@§@#

For example for the HEA240 of the HEA nach DIN the text is "HEA nach DIN#@§@#HEA240"

Sebastion,

Have you successfully exported an Advance Steel model into STAAD? You posted info I already posted in my initial request. What I am asking for is what values do I need to update in the GTCMapping.mdf?

you had to update all beams which are not already included in the STD_Profile_conversion.
But I didn't do this for long time. I tested it in this moment, and there's definitely something wrong, because every beam (same profile) which is already defined is asked by the dialog again.

Maybe @Emanuel.Nestor  could say something more?
I made some tests by exporting only one beam (HEA300) which is already included (two times) in the table, but nevertheless the converting dialogue appears

I would upload a pic, but it's actually not working

OK so it's not just me then. I thought I updated the profile conversion correctly (as best I can tell), but I'm still prompted to redefine every member in the same dialogue box as you mention.
