Adjust section name distance

Hello everyone,

Where can I adjust the distance between the section name and the detail? Is there somewhere a variable which control that ?

I don't think that there is a place to set that default other than a general "Bottom" or "Top Right" position (There are more than that, but you get my point).  That being said, the titles are movable with a simple move command or grip edit.

I know, I can move tham easily but, I want to get those titles closer to the detail when the detail is generated. There's a lot of system variable in the databases, there have to be one, that controls the distance 🙂

So any other suggestions ?

By the way, have you already tried to drag to the nearest position you want?

Do you want to do with the all dimensions or just one?

Maybe I wasnt clear enough.

I want to set the distance X in a AS system variable, to get closer the detail title to the section detail.

Not to drag and move, but set the value, and get the right distance after I made the assembly drawing from a beam or a column.

The distance you are trying to change - distance between title text and view elements - is hard-coded to 10 mm.

There is no option to modify it at this moment. Sorry to tell you this.

If you want, you may create a feature request on the Advance Steel Idea Station portal. In this way other users are able to contribute and vote for your idea, while the management team is actively monitoring this portal.

At this moment, as you already know, you have the option to move the title manually, after creating the detail. And the move should be kept in case of detail update.
