When using the Desktop Connector to upload files from Windows Explorer to ACC,
If the Internet connection is temporarily lost due to some problem, the following error occurs.
”Failed to update file. The requested service is currently unavailable. ...”
”Upload failed. Please update and try again. ...”
If the same file is uploaded to ACC again without resolving the above error, the file will not be uploaded to ACC, but it will be updated locally.
The file will be updated locally, but not uploaded to ACC.
To resolve the above error, you need to “retry” the file on the Desktop Connector side.
If the file is updated by someone else before the above error is resolved or before the file is retried, the file will conflict even after the retry and the following error will occur
”Failed to update file. A conflict occurred with this file.”
Also, if the same file is reinserted during the file upload, a conflict will occur and the same error will occur.
While the Desktop Connector is receiving the above “Failed” error, it is not possible to update the file with the same name.
Since we are dealing with a huge number of files, it is difficult to check and “retry” each error one by one.
We would like a function to automatically perform the “retry” operation when the Internet environment recovers.
Or, we would like to have a function that does not lock the file, but uploads the last uploaded file as the correct one and ignores the above “failure” related errors.
Thank you in advance.
